We had a wonderful dinner at Split Bar and Restaurant! The fish with risotto was absolutely amazing—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The cocktail was just as impressive, and we loved every sip. Huge thanks to our waitress, who recommended both the fish and the cocktail—she really knew her stuff, and we were not disappointed. Great service, delicious food, and a fantastic atmosphere. In a city where dinner plans can be cut short by a restaurant closing early this place stayed open pass the closing time to accommodate my party. Amazing delicious food and appetizers and supper friendly staff, even got engaged in a conversation with the chef who wanted to check on our experience. Drinks are top notch too!

We had the most fantastic lunch here so excited to have found this place. It’s often hard to find a good balance menu and a great drinks menu for lunch in Whangārei. We had the Caesar salad and the BBQ chicken salad they were both fantastic. The staff are incredible!! the best place in Whangārei for sure. If you’re in the area or you live here, the new ownership is working great fantastic looking forward to seeing it evolve. I highly recommend giving it a try. A+++
